ABOUT THE SELLER/DESIGNER, SALLY McLEAN

A graduate of The Actors Institute, London (UK), Sally has played leading roles on the London stage in various productions including Macbeth, Hamlet, Top Girls, Uncle Vanya and the World Premier of Annabel's Requiem. She has appeared on UK television in The Bookworm, Poetry Nation, The Late Show and as "Angie Powers" in the BAFTA Award-winning BBC mini-seriesBootleg opposite Tim Robertson.

On the Australian stage, her credits include leads in Little Shop of Horrors, Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Romeo and Juliet, Lovepuke, The Clairvoyant, The Auxiliary, The Comedy of Errorsand the professional Australian Premiers of Chasing Pegasus andI Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change at the Athenaeum Theatre, Melbourne as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Australian television credits include Flying Doctors, Totally Full Frontal, The D-Generation, Bingles, Blue Heelers, Neighbours, Tonight Live, Comedy Inc., Elephant Princess, Lowdown and Killing Time. Film credits include Without A Word, Ring of Roses, Sleeper, Interchange, Why Must The Show Go On? and the UK feature A Little Rain Must Fall opposite UK comic Alistair Barrie.

She has been designing for t-shirts and gifts, drawing inspiration from Shakespeare and other entertainment industry related themes since 2005, selling via her online stores The Shakespeare Shoppe and Incognita Store and is now delighted to be able to bring her work to a whole new audience on Ebid.

ABOUT THE SHAKESPEARE SHOPPE

The Shakespeare Shoppe is part of the film production business, Incognita Enterprises (formally Salmac Productions) which was established in 1997 by Creative Director, Sally McLean in order to produce her various writing projects, under the honorary patronage of respected British actor and Oscar Nominee,Sir Nigel Hawthorne, best known as "Sir Humphrey Appleby" in the award-winning Yes, Minister and Yes, Prime Minister. Incognita's continuing aim is to produce new theatre works and original film and TV ideas using established practitioners working alongside the next generation of writers, filmmakers, directors and actors.

Projects to date include the successful 45 minute feature A Little Rain Must Fall (invited to screen at the 1998 Cannes Film Festival) which premiered at Ealing Studios, London in July 1997, the short film fixNATION in 2004 (screened on OutThere, Foxtel 2005, Selected: Best of Anything Goes Film Screenings 2004, Melbourne), Brigit & Benny (a modern faerietale) (Selected: The Festival of the Spirit, US), the 23 minute film Why Must The Show Go On? in 2010 (currently being developed into a 6 part comedy TV series) and the plays Chasing Pegasus: A Play in Ten Chords (written and workshopped in 2003), which premiered in October 2006 as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival, to great critical acclaim, P.S I Love You, which premiered in July 2004, and is now being developed into a 13 part TV series under the title 'Till The Boys Come Home. Excerpts from the current work-in-progress "Bayonets and Bully Beef", were showcased under Sally McLean's direction at the Victorian Arts Centre, Melbourne in July 2005 with development being ongoing.

Our award-winning web and graphic design arm, Incognita Design, provides unique and individual web sites, multimedia presentations and logo and graphic design services to entertainment and lifestyle industry clients, including Alan Fletcher ("Dr. Karl Kennedy" on Neighbours), Alistair Barrie (Headline UK Stand Up Comic), Paul Dawber (Australian/US actor) and TV and Tommy Rando (Australian musician).

We have also been in the arena of online merchandising since 2005, running three major stores - The Shakespeare Shoppe, Incognita Store and Pure Attitude, providing t-shirts and gifts designed for all those involved in the entertainment industry, and everyone who has an appreciation of the Arts in general.
