New condition, never displayed
These are still in the original boxes, which have darkened from age but are otherwise in very good condition
These plates could not be purchased; they were awarded as incentives to Avon representatives
Rarely available as a set
The inscription on the back of the Independence Hall plate reads: "Avon Independence Hall Bicentennial Plate Birthplace of the Declaration of Independence. Special Edition. Awarded Exclusively to Avon Representatives. Made in England by Enoch Wedgwood (Tunstall) Ltd., Avon Products, Inc. 1976"
The back of the Liberty Bell plate inscription is: "Avon Liberty Bell Bicentennial Plate. Symbol of liberty and freedom for all Americans. Special Edition. Awarded exclusively to Avon representatives for Distinguished Sales Achievement. Made in England By Enoch Wedgwood (Tunstall) Ltd, Avon Products, 1976."
