Two Canada Dimes One Silver and One Nickel
In 1968 Canada minted dimes that were 50% silver for part of the year, then switched to 99% nickel
The only way to tell them apart is with a magnet --- the silver one won't stick
We're offering one of each, both in nice circulated condition
The details and lettering are sharp on both coins
The obverse has a portrait of Queen Elizabeth, "Elizabeth II" and "D. G. Regina"
The reverse shows the ship "Bluenose", "Canada", "1968" and "10 cents"
Both are 18 mm in diameter
The silver coin weighs 2.33 grams, the nickel one weighs 2.07 grams
