Description
Item: A left side sun visor for 1965-1968 Ford Mustangs.
Manufacturer: Ford Motor Company.
Condition: The sun visor is in acceptable used condition. The vinyl is in overall good condition. All it has are two small tears. The stitching is strong with nothing loose. The visor does move on the bracket, but it is a bit stiff and could use some TLC. The bracket pole is rusty, but it looks like it is surface rust so it should clean up. The little metal tab at the edge of the visor is also rusty, but it also looks like surface rust. The chrome on the bracket isn’t good. The chrome has flaked away to the bare metal in spots. All three mounting holes are intact. You could re-chrome it, clean it and paint it, or use it as is. There is some tape residue on the surface of one side.
Measurements: 23” long including the bracket and pole and about 5” wide.
Other Information: From what I have researched, this Sun Visor is for 1965-1968 Ford Mustang Coupes and Fastbacks. It may fit other model year Mustangs or other Ford cars, but I am not sure. I am pretty sure this is the driver’s side sun visor. This is an original Ford part, not a cheap knock off or reproduction. The part number is C2AB-6204122-0. Please be sure this is the correct part you need before purchasing. A good OEM sun visor to replace your worn, broken, or missing part on your classic Mustang.
