Seller's Description
Printed sepia postcard showing a view of Willersley Castle at Cromford near Matlock in Derbyshire.
Published by Charles Colledge, Matlock, not numbered, very similar to Frith's No C193012, which is though dated as c.1955, although I suspect that to be an error and that this is part of the same series, taken sometime around or just after 1930.
Postally used on 2 August 1934 with Matlock cancellation on red one penny stamp and sent to Mr Albert Woolfitt, Lound, Retford, Nottinghamshire.
Very good condition, with very slight corner bumps.
