[O.W.I. 1943]. Original aerial propaganda leaflet printed, illustrated. 2 pages. 214 x 133 mm. Text in German.
Code USG.5.
The present copy is a very rare colour variant of the first leaflet air-dropped by the Americans on Germany during the Second World War. The slogan, “Die amerikanische Flugwaffe greift diese Ziele jetzt an!” is printed on a black background rather than the usual blue background. This variant is not mentioned in Klaus Kirchner's standard bibliography.
Rubbed, multiple fold creases, sellotape repair to upper margin.
