Description: This is a large 11" inch x 8" inch photo of a West German steam Locomotive 41-1182-9 on the Orlabahn at Orlamunde in 1985. Orlamünde is a town in the Saale-Holzland district in Thuringia, Germany.
The Orlabahn (Orla Railway) is a 14.9 km branch line in Thuringia, that runs from Orlamünde on the Saal Railway to Pößneck's 'lower' station (unterer Bahnhof). Until 1946 there was a continuation of the line to Oppurg on the Leipzig–Gera–Saalfeld railway.
