E. Page Morning of Freedom. In 2 Volumes. 1953./E. Peydzh Utro svobody. V 2-kh tomakh. 1953 god. She was born on August 27, 1889, in Castleton, Vermont. She grew up in New York, graduated from Vassar College in 1912, and received a masters degree from Columbia University in 1914. She is best known for the 1939 bestseller Liberty Tree, on which Howards 1940 film was shot in Virginia. She also wrote Adventure in the Wild (1946), based on the true story of the explorer John Peter Salling. She married Herbert Taylor Harris in 1954 and died on March 11, 1969, in Oaxaca, Mexico.
