Some Information About nydodgerblues
Born in Pasadena, CA in 1961 I've always been a fan of The Game. Collecting cards & memorabilia--especially baseball and music related--is my escape from the world & something I enjoy the heck out of.
My eBay name is nydodgerblues I've been buying & selling there since January 1999--so I have been around and learned a few tricks of the trade. I don't like unpleasant surprises and, thus, take pride in describing my items in great detail. If I am unsure how to grade a card, I will give you all the pros, cons & a nice scan.
nydodgerblues is a name that fell from the sky. That is, my old eBay name said nothing about me...other than I was completely devoid of creativity, lacked passion, had the IQ of a fencepost, etc. But this name showed my ties to NYC, my love of the Dodgers of Brooklyn & Los Angeles & how often they've broken my heart--plus, I am a musician and that can be read into it...enough? yes, enough!
Currently, I reside in Norfolk, Virginia--I love living near the Sea. But I do miss California, friends & family.
