Grade 1 ETA 2836-2 Rolex Submariner (2634817)

@Thu 17 Nov 2005 03:07:50 (NZST)

This was my first time to buy on EBID and I had the misfortune to run into this seller. "GRADE 1" is indeed the highest grade of Rolex replica available; virtually indistinguishable from the genuine article except to an experienced jeweller. I purchased this seller's guaranteed "GRADE 1" replica of a 2005 Rolex Submariner on Mon Sept 26th for £150. Is that what I received? No! "100% Accurate Markings Throughout"? No! "FULL 12 month warranty"? No! "100% GENUINE ETA 2836 25J Automatic Movement"? I doubt it given the other inaccuracies. I have a genuine Rolex Submariner Date for special occasions & wanted a high quality replica for everyday wear. I have a strong familiarity with the Rolex Submariner & Seadweller models, including the 'dead giveaway' telltale signs of cheaper 'replicas', but I didn't even have to put his watch beside mine to see that it wasn't a match. That is a simple fact and not a matter of m535e12's opinion. The watch I received is definitely not what the seller guaranteed.......... The seller boasts of researching suppliers so he can "offer the highest grade Replicas at the Best Prices." If so, then why does his high positive feedback score consist almost entirely of PURCHASES many of which are ultra-cheap Watch Replicas? - Including Rolex!..... "Your satisfaction is GUARANTEED 100% - if in ANY way the watch does not meet the description above we will refund you IN FULL, including the return postage" was the seller's claim. Was it true? No! ..I have emailed the seller on numerous occasions formally asking for the guaranteed full refund in exchange for the return of the watch exactly as I received it. These emails were ignored. I emailed again insisting on a response. The seller did eventually respond and through a series of email exchanges grew more insulting and abusive insisting that it was obvious I know nothing about Rolex watches, that I had a high opinion of myself and finally that I was to stop sending him what he labelled "Spam" emails. I have emailed him since with a final request for the refund, or at least a further response, before leaving any feedback. Feedback to which he will probably respond with further sarcasm. I have heard nothing more from him. So: If you just want a 'Rolex style' watch then £150 is a blatant rip-off. £150 would be a very good price for a high-end GRADE 1 Rolex Replica but from my personal experiences with this seller every word, sentence, claim, promise and guarantee on his more expensive Item Description pages should be treated as bogus. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!......... Added 1/12/05 with regard to m535e12's witty retort below (See! I told you he'd have an intellectually stimulating comment to make!) and the undeserved but not unexpected 'Negative Feedback' he left for me in retaliation...... Every word of what I stated is true of course no matter what he says. What else would anyone expect him to say in response? Even nkita1, the feedback above, originally gave him a seriously negative feedback and had to threaten police action to resolve their issue with him before (too generously I think) reducing the Negative Feedback to "Neutral". m535e12's the one who should be blackballed......... I have been buying on auction sites for years and have100% feedback scores. I have never messed anyone about and have always paid up for the goods immediately. I have never had a negative feedback. I have always left positive feedback for the seller even on those rare occasions when I had cause to return an item, and received either a replacement or a refund, because the seller had still behaved honourably. I've bought other items on EBID, since this unfortunate encounter, from excellent sellers. The goods have all been exactly as described and I have had no trouble whatsoever. The only exception was this one psychotic pratt. His attitude and manner are truly awful and he's a disgrace to any auction site. I paid him the full "Buy It Now" price - £150 - I got stiffed and he got the loot, so what's his problem? This incident happened some time ago. I've already made it abundantly clear that I wish to forget this whole sorry episode.................... I can only suggest that eBidders read the item description, via the link, compare it to the Feedback I left him and the Negative Feedback he left me, then read his Negative Feedbacks which tell a lot more truth than all his positive ones for purchases. I will leave it to fellow eBidders to judge for themselves which of us is an "uneducated fool" "with half a brain and a jumped up opinion of himself?".. He should consider himself extremely fortunate; he could be doing time instead of selling it!.. I've nothing more to say on the matter regardless of what further deranged comments he adds. This idiot wasted enough of my time.

Absolute rubbish. This buyer does not have a clue. Blackball him
