Approx; 13cm by 18.5cm, 256pp with an illustrated frontis and a further 38 full page B&W illustrated plates.
The author's recollections of birds encountered on his travels.
Complete and fully collated.
Internally, the binding is firm. the pages are lightly aged toned although this is more pronounced on the end papers where foxing is also evident.
The cloth bound illustrated coverboards are also in a very good general condition with some light fading to the spine fascia.
