*** My listings at this point have been uploaded from ebay so were supposed to be exact clones, but the quality of the download was poor with many photos & text missing. It has taken a while to work through and clean but trying to correct formats was a never-ending task. Hopefully most are done but a lot just refused to change - so there may be many poorly formatted descriptions. Prices are based on ebays disgraceful policies of taking 'commission' on shipping costs amongst others, including 'free to list' being for an invisible listing that requires to be promoted at cost. I have been selling on ebay since 2003 but have become a bit fed up with their constant greed and idiotic policies which seem to be getting worse.

From now, my items will be listed over several platforms so in the event of an item selling on two or more sites in the same time period, the earlier timed sale will be the one honoured regardless of which gives me the most revenue. I would hope to remove sold listings in a timely manner but cannot be active 24/7.

My Items

Most of the items I am selling are my own. I have collected a lot over the years and now I am retired I have decided to focus my collecting to a few select areas (mainly Motor Racing & Rally, Le Mans and Triumph, Jaguar & Aston Martin) - everything else sadly has to go. There will also be a few items selling for family and friends, as well as some inherited stuff that I think would be criminal to see go to waste-fill. Hopefully I will have several 'shops' set up in eBid to aide browsing.

While some items may be listed at present, it is my intention to sell in the near future to a dealer as a bulk lot due to space limitations. If an item is of interest to you then please purchase as soon as possible as it will cost more once in a dealers hands. This specifically applies to stamps, covers and coins.

Prices

I have either had these items from new or paid a good price for them to add to my collections. I usually know what they are worth and would like to cover my outlay at the least. I cannot research current prices on every item that I am selling, but if you think something is priced wrong then do let me know with some details of where your value assessment is based.

Condition

I will always try to describe the condition of each item and will provide photos or scans to allow you to assess your own opinion. In the case of bank notes or coins where the grade is below the top tiers then it will be more of a general description as I do not have time to list every detail, and I doubt anyone really would be interested in reading it either - a win/win situation!

Shipping

I always will combine items to ship as one. Price will be for the package (which will be on the largest/heaviest item) and will be based on the total weight (I do not add a stupid nominal amount for each extra item). Obvious exclusion is if an item needs to be in a tube (posters etc) then some/most other items would need to be sent in another package. I always try to pack with care to protect from obvious potential risk regardless of the items value but cannot guarantee against the destructive nature of some shipping employees. I am fortunate to have had only one item damaged to my knowledge and that was to the box.

Profits

As mentioned, I am concentrating on a few of my collections with an aim of completing them and selling off items from others is my way of funding this. Although it would be nice to pick up the items I want for next to nothing, I appreciate this is unlikely to happen. So, if I have to pay over the odds to secure an item or two then I will. Likewise, if I know that I have a rare item I am not going to sell it for a silly price.

Overseas Shipping / Sales

Most items can be sent overseas. My listings at present show as UK only as I do not have the time to calculate and list shipping costs for all destinations. If you are interested in purchasing an item then please request a price.
