Some Information About sannyssecret
Giving you a little more insight into the seller.
Hi, thanks so much for visiting my little spot on eBid. My name is Sarah and I am a dedicated wife and a proud mother to 3 litlte fur babies (2 Chihuahua's named Kiki and Bitsy and 1 Yorkie named Benji). Making jewelry is a fun hobby that I discovered in October of 2009. Several months later I opened shops on Artfire, Etsy, eCrater, Bonanza and now my latest eBid so that I can share my some of my creations and collections as well as my ever growing supplies and tools of the trade for other jewelry designers.
When I first started selling it was mainly to cover expenses but I've been blessed to do well and have expanded my shop to include many other things that I hadn't thought to offer before.
My shop offers a little bit of everything from contemporary costume jewelry to my own hand crafted jewelry and some vintage jewelry as well as jewelry making supplies such as beads, pendants, findings and even mannequins to display your own lovely creations!
I would like to take the time to clarify that in my situation "Hand Crafted" or "Hand Made" DOES NOT mean Made From Scratch. I am not a silversmith therefore I DO NOT and CAN NOT make my own wires, chains or other metal components used in my designs. Nor do I make any of the beads that are used. All these components were purchased from a commercial source and I basically "Hand Assemble" them into a finished product. Most of my designs are simple to medium complexity. The very simple ones include simply adding a pendant onto a ready made chain or adding an earwire to a string of beads. The more complex ones will be a mixture of different components and may consist of items not usually used in jewelry making such as my Choker made with "Washers" and a ribbon :). And I have also taken commercially made jewelry and "Altered" them to look different. I occasionaly purchase bulk lots of broken or unwanted jewelry and will take them apart for parts so you may see some pieces that have some similarities depending on how much they have been altered. One of my favorite thing to do is buying large lots of ugly or unwanted earrings which I can get for fairly cheap and converting them into beautiful necklaces or bracelets :). It's funny but sometimes getting the parts from ready made jewelry is actually cheaper than buying the components already broken up from a supply wholesaler!
Thanks for taking the time to read my bio and I please enjoy browsing through my ever changing inventory! If I can be of assistance please do not hesitate to contact me. I can usually respond within 2-4 hours on the weekdays however weekends are reserved for family and other personal obligations therefore I may not be able to respond during this time.
