Hello again!

As I'm based in Ireland & I've successfully signed up to Google checkout - my question is - do I need to sign up to "Google Merchant" so that I can obtain the id number and key that is required for eBid (with regards to offering any buyers if they wish to use Google checkout!)

Google Checkout is great for selling. I haven't used it to buy yet, but i understand from other people that buyers find it easy.

I hope for you that Google decide to make it availalbe to sellers in more countries.

Have you tried to contact anyone at Google regarding this?

Gosh no.. Booksforsale.. I didn't but I think I might do afterwards; maybe send an email to Google Checkout and ask them to include IRELAND and any other country (France) etc that may want to avail of the service..

Definitely, I'm delighted that I will be able to purchase goods on eBid with Google checkout but just saddened that I am unable to be avail of the Google Merchant as it seems it's only for UK or USA residents..
