I hate cold callers. I have had about 10 of them this week... sigh

I am ex-directory but I still keep getting calls for the previous owner of the property who died at least 10 years ago. I tell them to get a good medium .
nice one. My mum got this type of call and she doesn't even know how to use a computer.
I feel sorry for the people who fall for this scams. :-(
I don't get them any more. I use a filtering system "trained" to recognise friends and family. If a stranger rings, I hear nothing but the system asks who they are. If an answer is given it then rings and tells me who is there; I may accept or reject. The conversation starts; I may accept or reject during the conversation at any point. If accepted that caller will always get straight through. Should the caller not give an answer to the system then the call is rejected.
I can go online at any time and see what has been happening as it calls "home" every night. I sometimes go a whole day without hearing from anybody - then look online and see that I've avoided a whole bunch of nuisance calls.
Maybe it's the only job a person could find or get! At least they are trying to make a living. Be nice to them please
