How do I contact eBid direct?
I was locked out and dont have the information they are requiring so what do I do, if someone purchases an item how can I complete the transaction.
ummm, its not totally clear what you are referring to, @buyersellersclub, however I am going to take a guess, but from here, your account doesnt look locked. Have you tried a password re-set? It would be useful for people on the forums to advise you, to know more details of the problem you are having?
If ebid have locked you out, its usually because if you are a new seller and you are selling something expensive, they like to verify you are who you say you are. usually it doesnt take more than a few hours but of course there can be issues. For that they usually like scans of ID information and a recent household bill with your name on it - of course in these economic times, a lot of people are living with someone else who is the bill payer - in my case a parent - and of course therefore dont have such documents. If thats your situation, then contact ebid (the emails have already been posted above) and explain the situation, and offer whatever you can to try and sort it. Basically think of anything official or semi-official Bank statement? other ID cards? social security letter? Payslip? Letter from bill payer confirming that you are resident at the address you say you are? Letters from work or college? Basically whatever you can.
If something sells in the mean time, I would be upfront with buyers (always the best policy), explain the situation, and hopefully ebid will be helping you sort things in the background.
Not sure what you mean by locked out, did you forget your password? Contact support: support@ebid.net with the relevant info., I'm sure they'll be able to assist you.
Congrats on your sale and welcome to eBid.
Best wishes for many sales to all,
I don't use Google, only Paypal, so I don't know how the Google checkout system works. If you have an issue with Google checkout, you may want to contact Google about it as eBid can't fix Google problems, only Google can do this.
If you're still unhappy with Google checkout, you may want to consider using an alternative online payment system as Paypal or Moneybookers/Skrill.
Best wishes for many sales to all,
Google Checkout does not withhold payments.
However, the account holder (i.e. your seller) can set up their account to either authorise and debit your card payment immediately, or to only authorise the payment and they must then manually debit the card.
I use the latter method as that means I do not take a buyer's money until the item is ready to ship.
So, more likely an issue with your sellers (either not paying attention or unaware of how Google Checkout works) rather than with Google Checkout itself.
