    Hi jimbo750,
I have only IE6, & the add on doesn't seem to want to load using the link Gazza posted. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Linda

Hi Linda, good advice is to add Firefox then you can use the add on, plus it is way better than IE 6 or 7 in my opinion.

    Default My Website Linking

I just finished my website and all items are linked back to eBid, as a matter of fact everything links back to eBid. I did this thinking that anyone that goes to my site, not knowing about eBid would then find out everything they could want to know. I hope you'll check it out at grammasthisandthat.com I hope you'll also check out my All about eBid page. Oh and by the way, at the bottom of every page is a sticker that links back to my buddy link.

View the thread below to add eBid to your browser search to enable you to search eBid first whenever you are looking to buy.

    Gazza

I’ve been reading this thread with the intend of adding eBid search to my Explore browser but I am unsure as to exactly how this will benefit my eBid auctions/store! I am a computer Neanderthal and something I need a simpler detailed explanation.

    Thanks

It doesn't. It adds eBid as a search option to your browser's search box so that you can enter a search term and carry out that search on the eBid site. Much as you would search Google, Bing, Wiki, etc.

If you have the Google toolbar installed in your browser you can do much the same by placing the cursor in the eBid search box, right clicking, and selecting Generate Custom Search...

Thank you Mel that clears that up and I am running Google!

I know it can be done but not computer literate enough to know how. Ebay allows you to put a button on your browser to click and go straight there as does Craigslist and so on. Anyone have the code or what I do to add the same for eBid?
