Default Can we not add stores to site searches?

Hi Jimbo, I have a free search on my main website and tried to incorporate my eBid stores into it so that anyone searching could see exactly where to look. However, the following is what has been returned to me...

starting pointurl excluded http://uk.ebid.net/stores/Cyberdosh robots.txt exclude
starting pointurl excluded http://uk.ebid.net/stores/Gift-Gallery robots.txt exclude
starting pointurl excluded http://uk.ebid.net/stores/Cyberdosh-Fundraising-Store robots.txt exclude
starting pointurl excluded http://uk.ebid.net/stores/PoundTime robots.txt exclude
starting pointurl excluded http://uk.ebid.net/stores/Wigtown-Book-Town robots.txt exclude

Does the above mean that it is impossible to include our own stores in our own site searches or am I doing something wrong? Just thought it would be another source of free promotion

    Google allows this.

I set up a quick example on my account..

You could also make one for all links that are on the challenge page etc etc ..

I have included all your store links so go try it out ..

I can only keep this up for a day or two as it's on my own account feel free to make your own ..

Thanks Jimbo, I just need to find out how to do that and put it on my site. You hit the nail right on the head with that, as I'd like to be able to incorporate all the links leading to stores owned by tha participants in the Cyberdosh challenges. Going for a look now, cheers for that

Great stuff.. I would recommend reducing the size and make the back ground black to save your bandwidth..

Wink I am always unfinished with linking & buttons etc..

All these wonderful tools to use and I simply dont get it or understand how to make them work on my websites, stores, auctions etc.
    I wish they were automatic~
I never could drive a stick shift!
I cut , I paste, I edit in my name or user id and then IF* I find the right link to put them on, I still fail!
Very frustrating to say the least as I keep trying but seem to be spinning my wheels and have many auctions, not only here but elsewhere that I can never get the promo link things to work right...I think that may be why my auctions have such low viewings and get lost in the shuffle of things.
Is there any easy way to get the buttons where they belong and working?
    Thanks~
Ave [feeling like a ditsy blonde!]

    Hi Jimbo,

just about to add your Google Gadget Search to my website, but wondered how your snazzy png design was coming along? It looked real good.
