Add a photograph after your message & keep bumping it up with a different piccies each time....You may just catch someones eye

I haven't managed to do this yet - when I did it all I ended up with is a box with a red cross in it!

I put the url address in of a photo in my eBid gallery, I guess that doesn't work???

If you're a gold or Seller+ member, open a shop.
First is free for Gold, up to 5 free for Seller+.

All shops (other than those with adult content) are randomly featured,
not only on the frontpage, but the other main pages too.

Unfortunately you can only put your store in one category, but if you now sell baby clothes & used to sell stamps, don't forget to move it.

If you're a seller level member & can't use gallery until the new features are put in place.
Try using a picture of what you sell as your avatar on the forums, it's only a small picture, 150x150 pixels 10kb max, but everything helps.
You can also add a picture to your signature, but there is a size limit to how much you can have in there.
Both will show on every post, so don't forget to keep them up to date.
Both you sig & your avatar can be reached by User CP, top left on the blue bar at the top of the forums.

I think we need to make it easy for people to buy our items on Ebid, so would suggest putting a direct link to the "Join Ebid" page on our auctions.

Eg. If you want to buy this item, click on this link to join Ebid. It's fast and easy.

This may be a little push needed to turn a browser into a buyer.

Even better
don't just put a link to the join eBid page, use your buddylink for it.

Hiya Emma

I made my own studio box and at NO COST. Here is a photo! As you can see I have used a transparent trolley draw and two sheets of black card. - You use any colour, this is just my own choice.

I pop in my item and make sure the lounge lights are turned right up. I set up my little tripod and zoom in!

If you do not have a draw, why not use one of those white pop-up washing baskets??

Now Why did'nt I think of this! I've invented the Atomic Bomb, The paper clip, Staples, Cats eyes etc....

Don't know if this has been added or not, but I believe that descriptions with details, examples and at least 300 words will help with getting onto the google search engines.

If you're a gold member use gallery - most people look at the pictures to give more idea of what you are selling, without having to view the auction. (If it looks interesting then they look)

i thought you had to pay the 2% for gallery ??????? i am stuck on gold and have no idea what i can and can`t use
