I take all of my photo's by natural light as I can't use the flash cos' it reflects on the books and shows up in the picture, as for my camera I have no idea what the best settings are so I just point and hope for the best, but I find there is a lot of great advice on this thread, thanks everybody minx

Instead of photographing books, why not use a scanner to get a nice clear image. You could also then use the OCR software to get the text from the back cover instead of having to type it out manually.

To get more people to look at your listings, use the forums.

Use the plug your auctions thread to announce new lines etc.

I think we need to make it easy for people to buy our items on Ebid, so would suggest putting a direct link to the "Join Ebid" page on our auctions.

Eg. If you want to buy this item, click on this link to join Ebid. It's fast and easy.

This may be a little push needed to turn a browser into a buyer.

I think that's for Seller + members only,
you need to be a member of You Tube & upload your video there, apparently each video has an 11 digit ID, you just add that to the box in the listing form & your video is added to your auction.
