Default Ninja Lister Fails to Upload

I seem to be having a bleep of a time using Ninja Lister for some reason. After selecting Upload Good to Go Auctions, NL goes through the process of acting like it is uploading, then ends with just a cryptic "Your auction file was not uploaded. Try again please."

These are listings I imported from Turbo Lister, and as far as I can tell, there was nothing different in how I imported from how listings were imported last time I used eBid. And those listings back in October last year uploaded with no problems that I can recall. No errors shown for any of the listings I tried to upload either. What happened, and how can I get Ninja Lister to work again?

A problem I've found in the past is the size of the picture file - too many large picture files at once and Ninja won't work and times out.

    Just a thought.

To test that theory, I tried uploading an old listing that had previously went up back in October of last year. No changes were made to the listing in NL; and it also failed to upload with the same cryptic error. So I don't think image size is the issue. Besides, one of the listings only has two pictures, each around 1MB or less. And that listing also failed.

As an additional update, I was able to eliminate my firewall as the problem. Shut it off temporarily and tried again; and the listings still failed to upload. Does NL generate any sort of log file that can show in actual detail what the error may be?

You *may* be able to find an error log in your Bulk Edit tab in your My eBid dashboard/left hand column.

If no joy, suggest you contact support@eBid.net for help and advice.

Have you put your shops online? Without doing this NL will not upload the data. You also have to ensure that you have the correct shop number/shop categories selected in each line of the file.

Some time later after being distracted with higher priority matters...

My shop is indeed online; I only have the one shop here.

I also know it is not the picture size, since I tried with an old listing that successfully went up like back in October or November last year. Same error now.

I was able to manually list an item. And then I made a fresh NinjaLister entry from scratch and tried listing from there. Still fails with that same error. Not sure what else to try.

And for my final piece of trouble shooting, I tried from a different computer. Still the same problem.

Time to set eBid aside for now and work on other higher priority things.
