I don't know what SEO is done with the website but searches for Auction websites don't show eBid, nor do searches on my item titles in Google Shopping. Numiscorner must be doing something right because only their banknotes show in Google Shopping searches.

Ebid is right there on the first page of a google search for 'UK auction sites'

I guess it depends on the search term you use. 'UK auction sites' is not one I'd use...I'd be more inclined to use 'Online Auctions' or 'Auction Websites'

I just did 2 searches.
Online Auction sites
Auction Websites.

Both had eBid in bold in the top block and also in the lists below.

As you said, it's probably due to the search term used and the results might differ each day.


As for Google shopping, I typed un 'eBid' and got only one result, an item by Maelbrigda, nothing else!
Something's not right.

A good thing (?) no mention of eBay either.

When I searched for eBid on google shopping, it returned over 1000 items. When I search for "patons knitting pattern ebid", again I get over 1000 replies (I'm happy to say that the first 29 of them were mine!)

You have to do a search in Chrome using an incognito window, otherwise it will return searches tailored to you. This is a search done with incognito



Even if it's on the first page, only the top 3 count.

Madeleine people wouldn't search using he word eBid if they don't know about it.

Also found another issue..items that are Unused are showing up on Google Shopping as Used
