    Thumbs down Identification Document Request

Edit Update *** Solved *** Quickly and Positively resolved.

Go on then, what have I done wrong? I have 5 listings here and on eBay. I have bids on eBay so not being a **** I have now arranged the listings here to go live on Monday if things on eBay fall through.

Now I am not going to upload my passport - don't have one! OK, I'm not goining to upload my driving card, not sure how to spell lience.

So give me some feedback as to what activity I have done for my account to be manually cut like this.

Unless I still have stubudd.ebid as my email address and forgot to change it, nope, just checked my new email and found the request and reason "random due diligence".

    No it ain't.

I'll upload a request to confirm my upload so that I know it's actually being uploaded to a person at eBid - My due diligence. One that is confirmed I will upload the two bits of info requested.

Very annoying not to have access to my account.

    [edit]

Just seen the "Alternatively Import Feedback" - so I'll do that instead.

It's because you're listing high-end, high priced items.

eBid verify all new members to keep the site safe and free from scammers - unlike ebay.

Once verified, all will be OK.

And don't forget to fill in your About Me page with your sales and returns polices - and remove the reference to the other selling site. That could get you banned.

    HTH.

Thanks for reply. Can't do anything about the reference to the other selling site as still blocked.

Ebid could have at least allowed time and been courteous informing me about verification and given me 7 days, 48 hours - 24.

But you're right - not random. I'm not new here either, seller+ for many years. All Paid up. Trafic doesn't flow through ebid on the things I list. But it's nice to have a backup.

Not much for writing, a conversation would be better. Loads to talk about when it comes to being scammed.

I might make a video about scammers and how they would be better off finding something else to do that's more constructive.

    Thanks again for reply.

Thumbs up Re: Identification Document Request

Just an update: I have had an email confirming ebid has received my "info" document. I sent this to ensure it's ebid receiving these documents "and not a browser redirect". This is why it would be nice to have been able to log in and see my account and upload there. You never know who might be receiving those documents and what they would use them for.

Things have happened quick so I'll upload driving licence and Council Tax ~ utilities are on line docs.

    Thanks for being quick eBid.

Thanks Anniemcc2 and HaleysComics for replys and those behind the eBid scenes. I can now access my account.

As mentioned, the auctions will only go live if things fall through with previous logged sales.

    Thanks again.
