    Default Listing question

    Hello!
I have just started listing, and want to offer reduced postage on purchases made at the same time. In the shipping defaults, there seems to be no option for a standard letter, the code starts 01 Large Letter.
At the moment, I am not selling outside the UK because I can't work out a suitable price!
If someone could have a quick look at my listings with recommendations if they're not right that'd be great.
    Thank you

Yes there's a box to alter the postage on the invoice. You can either do it in money or as a %. Just remember to tick all the items you want to combine at the top of the invoice before changing the postage rate.

Thank you. I am trying to set defaults, and it looks as though listings close in three days? I have them set to Seven days x 10 relists...oh this is SO confusing!

Can anyone see a menu on their front page? I can't see one on mine or anyones.... And the ads?? Why? There shouldn't be adverts on a paid for page surely?

Your listings I can see are running for seven days. If you are setting the time in your defaults then remember to click on the save button at the bottom.

Not sure what you mean by a menu on your front page ? Do you mean in your shop ?

As for the ads it isn't a 'paid' page, listing is free on eBid. The ads help eBid pay for our items to be sent to Google Shopping for free so it's always good to click on a few of them to help eBid out. Remember eBid isn't a big site like the others and they haven't put up the fees here since I arrived which is amazing !

Ok about the adverts, fair enough. They are very off-putting though.
The shop...yes. The front page has no menu? You know, normally at the side there will be the section you are in, and links to other sections? I know I have only just started to list, but I have put sub categories under postcards, so say someone wanted to look under children...where would that be found?

You need to go into your shop from your My eBid page and create the parent categories and sub categories you need which will then show on the left hand side of your shop. At the moment you just have one parent category Postcards and one sub category stage and screen.

If you click on my banner below and go into my pottery shop you will see three parent categories, china, pottery and stoneware. If you click on one of those a dropdown list will appear with subcategories.

Nope...no menu on the left side of your store either! Must be my stupid tablet. I wonder why I bother sometimes! Lol 😂
