Question International Shipping not showing on listing

    Hi
Well I've been registered here for two years but only just now giving it a go and bringing all my listings over from 'that other platform'. I want to see how this one goes.

My problem is that although most of my items are only available for local shipping in my own country (Australia), I have some listings which I want to include International Shipping for. I went on to one of the currently running listings, edited the shipping to include Free domestic and also International Shipping, saved it all etc but when I look at the listing it is just showing 'Posts to Australia' and makes no mention of the fact that I am happy to ship overseas on this particular item.

What have I done wrong? I can't seem to find the answer in any of the FAQ's etc.

    Thanks in advance

Am I correct that you have edited 2 listings to ship worldwide? That is what is showing up for me, in UK.
    Madelaine

Five shops raising funds for Cats Protection & Prospect Hospice - all sorts of stuff
    Vintage & Modern Postcards
BK Stamps for my Philatelic listings
and Yarnalong for craft patterns and some materials
    not to mention
Lotzabitz -anything that doesn't belong in one of the other shops.

I had a look from the US site & see 2 listings also, but they only mention Oz shipping.
Looking from the Oz site, there's no mention of international shipping.
Did you tick all the boxes & set parameters, for the places you wish to ship, under the "International Shipping" fields?
Also, I notice your White Queen Bed Frame - the shipping is marked as A$999.00 (I pass) Obviously a typo!
It appears you have missed something during the listing process. I would take another look through the shipping fields & just check.
    Hope ya find it.

The 'headline' postage price will always be in the currency of the location of the buyer.

Further down the page you can edit the destination to calculate in other currencies.

Though as sellers are generally resistant to shipping to a country other than the buyer is registered in then the worth of that is open to debate.

    HI
Yes I thought I had ticked all the boxes (except Africa & South America) and set the parameters.
With the white queen bed frame, that is NOT the selling price, that is an express overnight shipping option which is merely to comply with seller ratings on eBay. If you offer a second postage option you likely rate higher in the search rankings there so most sellers put express shipping with a ridiculously high figure, just to comply with that rule. Most buyers don't look for express options as they are more than happy with the FREE postage which is offered for those items. That bed frame, along with all the other larger items I sell, are free postage. But is that not showing either??? Oh dear, I think this is going to be harder than I thought to get set up on this platform. BTW, all my listings were bulk uploaded from the eBay platform which is why they are configured to comply with eBay. I guess I may have to go through each one and tweak them a little to fit in with this platform.

    Hi Madelaine
Yes I just tried to reconfigure two listings for overseas posting at this stage but didn't do any more when I found that International Postage wasn't showing. Will try to figure it out for the rest.
    Thanks
    Liz

Thanks for your help everyone. I have figured it all out I trust. Now have all my listings showing with correct postages and International postages and have put everything in my eBid shop categories. Up and running!

    Thanks again.

Well done! I did a search of your listings via the US site & found 21 items with various amounts of shipping. Looking good to me!

FYI - Run Until Sold listings take a long time to cycle through searches! You're better off with 7 or 10 day Auto re-posts for better exposure. (but it's your choice)

I can see 20 listings all RUS here in UK - which stay at the back of the viewing list as Old says.

re Avella - new item, no barcode = no upload to Google Shopping where most buyers come from. The Item Specifics section on the listing form is important for new items. (Barcode and Brand). It is also important for old items (those without barcodes), i.e. need the word Exempt in the Barcode box.

Bottom sizes? = new term to me! Not sure UK folk will like that. Just the word Size would suffice?

BTW using the Multiquote button on Forum means you can reply to more than 1 post at the same time.
