Thread: Search for Items Sold

I should have made it clear that my observations were about ebay's UK site. Evidently, rocks2dust, from what you describe, the ebay US offers are significantly different and more limited.

I'd like to think that means that, in the UK, ebay are suffering heavy competition from ebid!

eBid will never bring back the feature to make searching sold/unsold listings easier to find.

Hmmm, I think you might be right Ray!

It's a shame really, a new seller doing research for a new sales platform would want to see what sells here before committing.
Hiding sales from view would be a turn-off for them. Maybe sales are so poor that eBid are hiding this statistic.

I've been here long enough to know that there are some things that eBid will not change, no matter how many times we ask.

It's a shame really, there are so many sellers on another site that are being forced away due to stupid and ill-conceived changes.

    I agree with you.

Still the same, no easy way to check sold listings.

i know there is a very restricted one on the front page but that's all but useless for research.

    eBay do it,
    Delcampe do it.

now we need eBid to do it.

If you are not willing to do it then please explain to your members why not.
I like this idea. For now you can check ebays avg sold listings and then price your item accordingly here. I would like to see that sold functionality. We already know that ebay sells more. Most of us came over because we can list a lot more than just 50 free items per month here. That $50 lifetime deal is going to be nice when hopefully traffic goes up. I still have items on Bonanza and Ebay although I try to get people to come here because of the lower seller fees.

If it does ever increase,I suspect that the half price offer will disappear & the full price charged.(99.98)
