Is the name Messy Art too generic? I might have to change it to someone else.

Any tricks to get your store on google?
I read the opening post more closely, and realized I had not seen a few things. At the end of paragraph two he/she referred to their store as "someone else". He/she ascribed personhood to their store. Or was it just a typo?

Corporations are considered to have personhood; and are granted more rights than a person. However, AbstractArtist is not listed as a business.

There was also a request to have the Op's store googled by others before the name changes. This was never addressed in this thread. I actually saw the request, but didn't. My focus was on the post title question. So I pondered on the issue of perception.

Just wondering if there is more to this particular thread than a newbie asking for help, getting help, a new user name, and a new store name?

I do wonder what I could do to get my ebid website indexed on google. I can find it on msn and yahoo, which is cool.

I don't own a corporation or business or want to imply that. I wasn't trying to ascribe personhood to the ebid store in that manner. I am an individual trying to sell some of my artwork as a hobby. The "someone else" was a typo.

I do really like my new username and storename too. Thank you guys.

I really like your user name and store name also. Interesting that you can find your "ebid website" on MSN and Yahoo, but not on Google.

Have you tried entering your user name and store name as keywords on Google and on Google Shopping. eBid pays to upload listing to Google Shopping.

Not really sure that doing so is cost-effective as a marketing tool. Showing up more readily on MSN and Yahoo is interesting.

Google shopping works. Just not the generic google search.

Then you are in to the eBid connection. You might show up on the general Google at some point in the future without cost.
