For the benefit of a newbie seller....please:
I have tried...
How to get a photo onto the initial listings?
I have all the photo's with the actual sale and I've tried the Extra Photo but it ends up with sale listing.
Here is where I'm trying to put a photo:

Do you mean you have no picture when being browsed?
If so, you need to select "thumbnail" when creating a listing (2% fee when sold).
That way a pic will appear when someone is just browsing.

To get a thumbnail photo, as BigKidsAttic said, tick the 'Gallery' option on the listing form.
