Thread: Upload directly from Ebay

  1. #1

    Default Upload directly from Ebay

I have an Ebid SELLER+ Lifetime subscription. I have just linked my Ebay and Ebid accounts on the My Bulk Upload page so I can upload listings directly from Ebay to Ebid. Before I do this can anyone tell me if I will be charge anything for this? When I click the "Import Listings from Ebay" button there is a message which shows "eBay BuyItNow price : $100 Discount when importing : 5% eBid price after import : $95". This does not mean I will be charged $100 to do this? I thought it was free to list with a SELLER+ Lifetime subscription?

Also this won't effect any of my listings running on Ebay will it, for example, it will not end my listings on Ebay?

I don't think there is any charge....but I would contact support@ebid.net to ask directly!

I was also wondering that if I upload all my listings from eBay, will the items be removed as an active listing when it sells on either site?

only if you remove it, I suppose. The sites aren't related.

Thanks, I was hoping it would be like my Bonanza.com booth. They sync with my eBay store every day and remove sold items automatically. It's a great feature.

Hi, I am completely new to eBid, have just joined today with an eBid SELLER+ Lifetime subscription after being cheesed off with eBad's fees. I would like to import all my listings from eBad to eBid but it does seem complicated. I looked at installing Turbo Lister 2 in eBad but had a message to say it may harm my computer.

Any suggestions would be very welcome, thanks.

There's a new direct import facility that no longer requires Turbo Lister.

Go to My eBid > My Bulk Upload and select the Import from eBay tab. Follow the instructions there.

I have never used it, but have seen comments from those who have that say it works well.

Good luck (though, hopefully, you will not need it).

I tried this recently and will note that although it does a great job importing item photos, descriptions, formatting, etc., you still need to do a bit of cleanup:

    - If you have set up a store(s), you need to go through and choose the store and store category (the software cannot determine those from the ebay site).

    - You should also check to make sure that the category matches (some ebid categories differ from ebay)

    - Look to verify the Returns and Postage fields (if the ebay listing uses a policy different than what you have set up here at ebid, then it will try to match close to the ebay version).

    - If your descriptions include links to ebay, such as cross-promoting your listings there, the URLs will be stripped out.

I found it to be a quite useful tool, and even with having to verify the results, the process was faster than uploading the photos and manually reentering the info.
