Thread: Website for a numpty

  1. #1

    Default Website for a numpty

Could someone please point me in the right direction for setting up my own website?

I am a complete beginner at this sort of thing and it would need to be cheap.

    Thank you

I was a numpty when I started my sunnycreatives world site with Webs....everything I have added to the site is free as was the original site

I haven't added a store as this site is linked to eBid and I think 5 stores are enough to be going along with.

Thanks for the heads up...have now restarted the site which you can find HERE

I've played around with various websites over the years, some free, some paid for.The best one by far has to be Wix.com.

Thank you - I shall take a look and decide whether I am up to such techy business

Just found Jan's new website created with Simplesite.com

    http://jabarcrafts.simplesite.com/

Until Ancestry sort out the Freepages security issue, I moved my family history site [link below] to https://www.biz.nf/ but not quite working out as new uploads of amended/updated pages are triggering Error 403 & 404 notices - grrrrrrrrr

Simplesite and Wix look interesting but I would want to use my own background and not set themes. That'll be today's main task to see what I can come up.
