Thread: PayPal

    Smile PayPal

Hi, to make it easier for new sellers to add PayPal to their store or what they are selling.

To set PayPal as a default payment method, click on "My eBid" then click "My Defaults." At the top, you'll see a tab "Selling Defaults" - click that and scroll down to "Payment Methods Accepted" and make sure that the "PayPal" option is ticked. PayPal will then be enabled for any new listing you create. You can, of course, change that for any individual listing, by removing the option in that listing.

Think of the "My Defaults" options as a master template that automatically plugs in whatever options you put there for new listings.

If you are seller+ you just add your Paypal addy under your personal details on your eBid page. Then as Rocks says add it to your defaults.

Slightly different but would love to kick Pay`too much` into touch (like Feebay) but anyone found a realistic alternative?
Would love to know why some Government has not looked at both of their monopolistic terms & activities - as weak as a Corbyn reaction to anything Russian?

The next few years are going to be interesting that's for sure

Ebay will be using Adyen, I cant say I've had much experience with them but from what I see it wont be good for low volume sellers but then look at the alternatives nothing much to write home about.

I've never used PPPAY mainly just because I'm use to Paypal but I think ill be adding it to my pay by options. Is it good?

Since ebay will go downhill even more once paypal goes I honestly see many sellers moving to a new main site, all this wont be
happening for a while but its good to be prepared.

It has been improved a bit since we first used it many moons ago so I've put it back on my listings and a few newbies have paid me that way in the last year.
