Doreen sent me a picture of a cat and asked me to do a cross stitch card - She did pay me a whole load more that I charge for the little cats I advertise on here. Usually I work directly from a chart but, as this was supposed to be a particular cat with specific markings I had to adjust rather a lot

Must think of another challenge to keep Madelaine out of mischief after Christmas haha.

I already have plans... Each month next year I have to knit at least one headband (for a charity shop in London which sells them for silly prices), make one Cat card for Cats Protection (not one like that.. a simpler design) and knit one Christmas decoration for another charity shop

And I can report that I have done all three items for January. Now I have to keep it up for all 12 months. Here is the Christmas decoration

Found it! I can report that I have done 12 Christmas decorations and rather more than 13 headbands so far this year.

Now I just have to do two more cat cards and my New Year's Resolution is completed.
