    Quite apart from legal or copyright issues, my major worry would be that some DVDs are region locked. So you might sell to a buyer abroad and then get a complaint that they can't play it. It wouldn't be your fault, of course. But it would be hassle you could do without.

    Perhaps check which region your country is in (I expect Wikipedia will say) and only advertise those listings within that region?

    Thank for that John it is good advice and already in hand - my listings have info about the compatible regions for the disc in bold red, although someone will inevitably miss it. So as soon as I get an approach from anywhere outside of the UK or Europe I will message them with my first contact about that.
