Site changes - first impressions

Just had a quick look round at some of the changes.

Overall I think it looks quite smart and I like the new category boxes which makes things somewhat easier ! I haven't discovered the variations bit yet ?

I like the new 'about me' page with the shops being more prominent but where have the shop links gone in the listings by the 'Meet the seller' ?

At first glance on my ' My eBid' page I thought I had lost my feedback tab and then saw that it had been dropped to the next line. There is no colour bar underneath it like the other tabs so it is hard to spot. This needs to be made more prominent as it's hard enough to get feedback these days !

I noticed my default layout had been messed up so went to my defaults to change it. The default pages are taking ages to load Gazza so that needs a tweak.

What has everybody else noticed ?

I'll have another look later...but even with all the changes the photo uplifter still won't allow me to add pics to new auctions with my chromebook

Product Attributes and Listing Variations area available in some categories and will be appearing in more categories over the coming days.I started a thread a few months ago asking which categories everyone would like to see first, add your requests in there and I'll make sure they get done first.

The photo upload is being fixed at the moment.

My Selling Defaults is also being looked into, it is taking an age to load on our live servers at the moment.

Thanks Gazza, my screen resolution as far as I know is 1024 x 820. The Q&A and Feedback tabs could still do with underlining in colour even when they are on the same line as they are very grey !

Love the "clean" look and the increased speed.

Crafts category : the All Categories section looks silly as it doesn't make sense. The major error is to mix finished handmade goods (ie finished items) with actual craft categories (ie a list of individual crafts.)
Craft Categories, for example, are:

Crochet
Cross Stitch
Embroidery
Rugmaking
Hardanger
Tapestry
Needlepoint
Tatting
Lace
Knitting
Needlefelting etc etc etc



Handmade Goods: (ie finished items ready to purchase and use....)

Dishcloths & Potholders
Granny Squares
Doilies
Rugs
Scarves
Hats
Gloves
Socks etc etc etc


Why can't there just be a simple list ?
