    Default Google https Requirement?

I'm curious as to eBid's intended handling of the announced Google requirement for secure (https) links in order to avoid unsafe site warnings when using Chrome. Since I've switched from Photobucket to Snapagogo and FotoTime for hosting my template and product photos. What can we expect from eBid with regard to this matter?

I believe ebid has already switched their site over to https to comply with google, if your hosting templates & photos elsewhere then it will be up to that site as to whether or not they use http or https.

The reason I'm questioning is that I embed product images within my item descriptions and use 3rd party hosting for images used in the templates for my store listings. One of the photo hosting sites is snapagogo.com which is, I believe, owned by an owner of eBid. I'm trying to ascertain if there is something I need to do or not. Unfortunately, when trying to access the snapagogo site I keep getting an error message, Chevereto error: Internal Server Error.

Of course, there had been talk of the number of images limit on eBid being increased to 15 in the site update. Alas! That update seems to have been put on hold and I haven't heard of any set date for it to occur. However, even that wouldn't help the situation regarding the images used in the template design.

Can you upload images for your template to your ebid gallery & then change the url to point to them.
I am looking to make a template related to the items i will be listing is why I ask, didn't know if that was possible or if i need to look to 3rd party myself.

Alas! I'm not very tech savvy. I'm also not overly confident in eBid's being up to the task, being that they haven't come through with the update scheduled for last August. So far, the templates appear to be displaying as they should, but I'm having trouble getting to the snapagogo.com site. I keep getting this error message:
Chevereto error: Internal Server Error I wish I knew what it meant.

I get to the snapagogo.com site with no problem & can veiw photos there, I know you probably have already but have you cleared your cache to make sure it's not trying to load a cached page. From what i found by googling the error is that it can be caused by a bad SQL file on server.

Yes, that worked, although I had to clear everything twice. Still I'm not sure what, if anything, snapagogo intends to do regarding the situation.

Apparently, I'm finally able to get back on Snapagogo. I've sent a message to that site's people to see what they have planned regarding Google's https requirement. I'll have to wait and post their reply when I get one.

Here is the reply I received from Snapagogo Support:

"Thanks for the email, all links will be automatically re-routed to their HTTPS versions in the future to handle any necessary restriction that Google adds.Nothing will need to be done on your side.

    Kind Regards,
    Snapagogo.com Support"

Now if we can get the bugs in the forums worked out.
