Just bought an item that required immediate payment for the first time. All was going smoothly (smoother than the usual payment process) until I hit the 'Return to Merchant' button on PayPal after making payment.
On arriving back on eBid at the listing I am still presented with a requirement for immediate payment message and Pay Now and Checkout With PayPal buttons. Most confusing; I had to go back into PayPal to confirm the payment had gone through.
While this could be down to a communications delay between PayPal and eBid I think it deserves some attention as it greatly confuses the payment process. Anything that does that is a bar to selling.
Maybe a forced refresh of the listing page on return would fix things?
