    Question Moving my store categories

I set up some parent categories in my store but I would like to move them under another parent category and make them subcategories instead. Is this possible? I have 106 listings on now so I don't want lose anything!

Not a problem to change store categories in Ebid Stores, just how you change your listings to the new categories.

I would do it like this:

    1. Go to Listings I am running and EXPORT
    2. Load the export into a spreadsheet
    3. Do a search and replace on column C for all the stores you changed so they are the new store number as shown in your Ebid Stores
    4. Change a for add to o for overwrite in column z
    5. Upload your spreadsheet to Ebid using my Bulk Upload/ Spreadsheet

    The OPs current structure is

    Crafts, Handmade & Sewing
    • Handmade Goods (70)
    • Needle Arts & Crafts (51)
    • Jewellery (19)

The way I would do it as I am not that good with spreadsheets is to use the eBid Bulk Edit facility.

I too would do so, and have done so by also using the "Bulk Edit" facility as I too am not good with spreadsheets.

I go to "My Ebid Stores" and add Categories and then sub-categories.
Once that's done, I go to "Bulk Edit" and search for one type of listing and change it to the desired sub-category.

Sure, bulk edit will do the trick.
I need a record of where everything is, in case anything goes wrong, so I have spreadsheet record of all my listings.
