Some kind soul tried to drop me an email with a Nemucod trojan file attached to it today. They used my eBid email address; while that is possibly not significant it is unusual, crap usually comes to other addresses. They also tried to address me by my eBid username.

So watch out for anything like this and don't open the attachment, better yet... delete the email without even reading it.

Message was as follows:

It happens a lot, UPS and Royal Mail too, but I know when I have ordered something, and never open zip files.

It happens a lot, UPS and Royal Mail too, but I know when I have ordered something, and never open zip files.

It was a warning to anyone not quite so switched on to the dangers of such emails. Hopefully most here don't need the warning.
