Edit/Update: The seller is trying to run a Western Union, direct banking Fraud scheme, I am going to report them directly to whatever form of fraud reporting Ebid has, and forward the emails they have sent to prove it.
I would email Support direct with this information asap ~

    support@ebid.net

edit: I would also put the Seller on your Blackball list. (I have done, thanks for the heads up)

The first figure was the starting bid for an auction sale, the second figure is a BuyNow price. Seller likely expected the auction price to be bid up (though if it is a scam does it matter that it wasn't ?). The other buyer probably won't get their item either.

I would also report the abusive feedback left and get it removed.

the first thing here is your own responsibility you should of been aware of payment scams before you bid/BIN by reading the help notes, the next thing you should be aware of is a lot of sellers came here because of being forced to offer paypal on the other side, so not every one is a scammer who dont offer paypal.

there was a lot of pointers with this seller that they are a scammer but you went for it anyway,

having said all of the above you need to contact ebid get the FB removed explain the situation and give the link to this thread, any scammer be it seller or buyer needs completely removing from the site, it takes a long time to gain a good reputation a even longer time to loose a bad one

The seller accepted credit/debit card payments - how would the buyer have done that?

Wow, it's just as well you came to the forums for advice and ended up exposing a scammer!
I really hope this does not put you off eBid, these events are pretty rare here.
Of course, eBid will remove the undeserved negative FB you received.

like any one else but giving your cc details is not advised to some one you dont know, it seems to me every one takes that for granted apart from you, you do also realise other payment methods like ebids are available

    It appears to me that

    SofiaAmezcua

is the same Scammer which I reported under the previous user name of RosaJulian.. There also appears to be 2 false buyers associated with the Scammer. They are ChristoferRandall and jairo_medina49.
