We hope you've all had anenjoyable July, the weather has been a little wetter of late but that hasn'tstopped cracking on in the background with our exciting changes. As is oftenthe case circumstances out of our control have set us back a bit on our time-linefor launch during July but we have set a date of August 15th for a brief periodof downtime to update some hardware in our data-centre and at the same time wewill be installing the updated website code so put that date in your diaries.
One of the most significantchanges will be product attributes whereby certain values specific to your itemcan be applied when creating a listing and buyers will be able to filter usingthese attributes to help locate the items they are looking for much easier andefficiently. At launch we will have attributes up and running for hundreds ofcategories but if you wish to ensure your favourite categories are ready thenpop over to our categorysuggestion forum and let us know which categories you would like us tospend some time on.

​I'm curious. Is the new upgrade going to in any way affect our intellectual property rights with regard to photographs and text being uploaded to the site? It appears that as of August 1st of this year, eBay has decided to remove the option of opting out their catalog scheme allowing others to use any uploaded photographs without permission from the copyright owner. Well actually, their action has usurped the right of copyright owners to control the use of their material. I'm wondering if eBid has any plans along these lines to go along with the proposed increase of uploaded photo limits?

The help page, https://www.ebid.net/uk/help/selling-on-ebid#faq-13, still refers to the 10 days. Though eBid do not have a good history of updating help pages to reflect changes to the site. If you find the images remain after the 10 days maybe you could nudge admin to update the help text.

Are the items still listed? Images remain in "My Gallery while items are listed. They are removed after 1 year if not used and also 75 days after an item is sold.

I checked, and yes, they are still being used.

Well lets hope it is going to happen then. I have been waiting for this to happen before I start a revamp on here and date keeps changing. Not impressed.

​My calendar is showing 25 August 2017. Did the revamp take place? I haven't seen anything that looks different. Did it get postponed again?
