    Beef is Deer here. We haven't had a good steak or a roast in a long time. I can't bring myself to pay the price. And it's not the producers that end up with the big Bucks for it.

    We were visited by a barn owl a few nights ago. I had obviously put my bean pole up for him to perch on, the beans are just happy additions. We have both barn and tawny owls around here, can very often hear them at night.
    I remember everything, even what happened tomorrow.
