Hello everyone,
What format do you recommend? Is is easier to sell listing as auctions or fixed price?
Thanks for your advice.

You need to have a fixed price if you want your items to appear on Google shopping. I use both auction and fixed price together.
If you are doing an auction price make sure it is a price you would be happy to accept if you only get one bid as bidding wars are rare here.

It would depend upon the type of items that you are selling. Rare or one of a kind items may be a better choice for auction style listings. Items that are not particularly hard to find and/or that are new or mass produced usually are better suited for fixed price listing.
You may also consider listing an auction with a possible BIN price attached. If so, I would set the BIN at what you think you can get for it in a High Street shop and set your starting bid at what you would set as a reserve if selling through an auction house.
After looking at your listings and based on the type of items you have listed, I would probably not recommend the auction format.

Like Bill, I always offer both. It gives the buyer a choice and means that items are uploaded to Google if the BIN price is high enough.
Slightly off topic, jsnpepe I would also fill in a bit about yourself and give your terms and conditions on your 'about me' page as buyers like to know who they are dealing with. If you don't want to import feedback from elsewhere then maybe buy a couple of cheap things to kick start your feedback to instill confidence in buyers.

Hi, both strategies have merits, and to totally cover your bases, offer bid and bin on all listings.
Bin price needs to be above $1 for Google upload. Familiarize yourself with the other Google shopping requirements for inclusion.
All of the advice given in this thread is spot on. To round it out more fully a link to the Google shopping requirements would be great.
In addition to Cornishmaid's suggestion, you could also kickstart your feedback by participating as a buyer or seller in our monthly YDC Charity Auctions They are fun, you can get some great deals and all the proceeds go to the chosen charity of the month.

Happy Selling!!!
Confused newby. If you list an item with auction and BIN, with the same price, why would somebody bid and not just buy it? What am I missing? I will assume say if you have an item that your BIN is $15, but you would be willing to accept $10, you have an opening bid of $10?
