Default Question About The Bulk Edit Facility

Hi, when I relist my offerings in groups, by editing the relists remaining figure, and do them in groups, so that I do not have to be constantly worrying about what is about to fall out of the system.

At the moment I do them individually, but this is a time consuming. I am wondering if I inserted a line of text into each listing, would I be able to do this through the bulk edit?

So how about grouping your relists with spreadsheet?

    1. Export your closed without sales, and load into your spreadsheet software.
    2. Sort your items into groups, either manually, or I use sort all items by my ebid store category, column D I think.
    3. Then the clever bit is to start them all off at different times when you relist so they appear in groups. Change the immediate column to 28/05/2017 09:07 (date and time about an hour after the present) and then change the time so each group starts at a different time.
    4. Make sure you have a for add, then save and upload as a spreadsheet
    5. your closed without sales needs deleting without relisting if the spreadsheet was successful

If you wish to do this using My Bulk Edit, wait until you have 1 or 2 Reposts left in a group of listings, then go to My Bulk Edit (in the menu on the left side).

    1) Click "Start a New Edit Bucket"

    2) Click the hollow box on the line of each listing you wish to update (this will place a checkmark in the box)

    3) Click the "Add Selected Listings to Bucket" button

    4) Click the "Make Changes to the xx Listings in This Bucket" button

    5) Scroll down to "Auto Repost"

    6) Click the box to checkmark

    7) Change the number to "10" from the dropdown

    8) Scroll to bottom of the screen and click the "Submit Changes for Review" button

It takes several minutes for the changes to be reflected in on your Listings page. The ending times for those listings will not change when you update the number of Reposts.

This is what I have started doing. Someone on here had suggested this and I thought it was a good idea. Since I've got the five stores, I just bulk edit by store.

Thanks for the help, and suggestions - I don't actually need to edit the start times as I list at all times of day so have a good spread of finish times.
Will have to get around to editing and inserting a code so that I can find the listings.

I prefer not to let the listings end as this means that the reference number needs to be edited in my spreadsheet.
