Ta, I have googled to no avail
I've been through all my books - nothing is helpful below size 14 (2mm or US )
I don't have a micrometer or I'd measure my smaller needles... (well, you don't expect to need engineering tools for knitting, do you?)
What I have found is that UK size 19 is metric 1mm or US 5/0 - though I doubt whether you can buy that size anywhere normal! I found some 16 needles recently and swooped on them with delight though I may never actually use them

I have up to size 17 and a pair that are UFO's that i once did a dolls house sweater on but it looks like i need a size 18 if 19 is 1mm
I have a feeling that I have a pair of 1.25 mm somewhere. But at the moment I cannot find my needle storage roll. I will have a look tomorrow if I can find them
I found this : http://www.yarnandfiber.com/catalog/needlechart.php
thank you meebo, I have bookmarked the link, i know there is another size i need for another pattern 5/0 so that has helped, i am going to try and find some or some stainless mm wire as i dont hold out much hope of finding a 19mm, i am hoping that Mike will make me some 1mm ones
I have rooted and dug and found some needles size 0.75, 1.00 and 1.25 and now i think i have all needles up to size 22, I am so happy .............. errrrr no idea what i can knit with them or even what with as i gave all my fine cones of 1 and 2 ply wool away to make hats for the homeless, yes i remember Meebo you told me not to do it that i would regret it
I can always wind a bit off some of my fine cones for you
And I have a two books of miniature knits - not that I'm ready to admit that I will never make them.
I've done the tiniest bonnet from one of them and, long ago, a 1/12th scale crochet tea cosy from the other.
