Thread: New to selling on Ebid

Hi all, just need to know a few things about fees and selling.
If you use extra features and your item does not sell, do you still pay for those extra features like pictures for gallery. Also how do you link Paypal, is this done at invoice stage, as Ebay this is done on your listing, I saw no reference to that when making my listing?
I have only used Ebid to buy before and I am finding this a bit daunting with finding my way around selling.
I am grateful for any help or guidence.
    Thanks Jules

You pay for listing extras if your item does not sell. I never use extras.
Go to My Personal details and enter your Paypal (an PPPay) email there, then you don't enter it again.

I do believe that the OP can't do that as he currently is signed up with an Account Status of SELLER Individual.

If I remember rightly I added my Paypal details when I joined as a buyer. When I added Seller Individual so I could list some items these details were carried over to my selling account. As long as Dianafan uses a Platinum Listing (and pays 5p) they will get integrated checkout and five photos including a thumbnail on the search page.

Welcome to you Dianafan, it is a bit confusing at first but that's sometimes because it's simpler although just a bit different. In case you don't know, if you use the Platinum Listing and have a BIN price your listing will also be seen on Google Shopping. There are lots of friendly and helpful people on these boards if you get any problems. Good luck with your selling.

As far as I know you can only link your account to funding options if you have a Seller+ membership, if not you would have to send an invoice from paypal or where ever yourself.

Sorry, I'm not sure if you're replying to me or not. I'm registered as Seller Individual and always use the Platinum Listing, which gives me access to most of the Seller+ enhancements on payment of the 5p fee. See Fees & Charges FAQ para 2 Platinum Listing.

Not having hundreds or thousands of items to list using Platinum listings seems more cost effective than Seller+. All my sales here have been fixed price RUS platinum listings, possibly from Google. Usually the first I know about them is when I get the "Notification of a payment received" email from Paypal because it's part of the integrated checkout.
