When listing an item I can only pick buy it now. The auction start price is blocked. I am new and no sales yet.

    Welcome to eBid!

Take a look at Section Three of the listing page. If the Starting Bid and Reserve Price boxes are grayed out, take a look under the BuyNow & Make an Offer box. Is the little box next to Fixed Price? checked? Just un-check it and you should be good to go.

    Hope this helps.

It obviously did help as the OP is now listing with Buy it Now and auction. I shall thank you on the OP's behalf as without members willing to help newbies there would be no eBid.

Question Re: No option to choose auction

I am currently experiencing the same problem but its not allowing me to uncheck the Fixed Price box.
When I hover over the 3 fields in Section 3, I only see the red "NO" sign/symbol

Its my very first listing in my 6 year membership, as I am testing the waters here before I make a decision to move my online culture shop to ebid.
Any help regarding this issue is greatly appreciated at this point.

Perchance, did you click Run Until Sold in the previous section?

I sure did. Unchecked "Run Until Sold" box and now all is well. Thank you so much for your quick response.
