Default Floppy Discs. Can I use them to store photos

    Hi Folks,

    Remember the Old Floppy Discs?

I size the photos on my com. I wish to keep. So far so good.
Is it possible to upload photos from my computer to a floppy disc then transfer them back to my computer and upload to a Auction Site at a later date.

Example. Disc with furniture. Disc with Paintings. Disc with Crockery.....

    Thank you in advance

Why? Why not store them in folders on your computer? Surely your hard disk is not that tiny?

So much conflicting advise out there, and I'm no computer nerd by a long chalk, I'm advised to back up all photos,Documents. In the event of a computer crash there is a fair chance of losing all info one should have backed up.
Docs should be backed up on a memory stick or a site called "Clouds"?
Its a full time effort keeping abreast of this technology....Phew

Right... yes, you should have things backed up. Dropbox is a free solution you could use which would get the back up out of your house

    https://db.tt/CFZdW3Ul

is a link to join (and I get a bit more free storage.. but then you can invite all your friends)

you could also store your stuff at www.photobucket.com

or you could use a memory stick or two

P.S. it is not common for me to agree with Juliebabe but floppy disks are so yesterday! Seriously, few machines can read them so, in case of a disaster with your current machine, you will probably not be able to read the things any more.
