Thread: sold items relisted

  1. #1

    Default sold items relisted

I have just been contacted by one of my regular buyers, telling me that a number of items she bought previously are up for sale again. As a fact she realized after she had pressed the "buy button" on several of them.

All my recently sold items appeared for sale again and I have deleted them one by one - rather time consuming trying to find each one and deleting them.

I checked when they were restarted and it happened at around 10.40 this morning. I was Tesco shopping at the time, so definitely not my own handy work. My initial reaction was, that I had accidentally clicked finished items>view all, instead of finished items>unsold and relisted them myself by mistake, but I was nowhere near my pc.

Marianne, there is a thread already running about this very problem:

    http://www.ebid.net/forums/showthrea...ter-being-sold

I've had slight problems with this glitch, but not as bad as others.

Most likely relisting even sold items were-are in there, must be smart and careful here.

    Thank you Gazza.

As stated above, I have deleted the cards that were not "bought for a second time".

However, the ones that were bought again, appear under "My fees & invoices", so I can give you the item number for those.

    144433136, 144433119, 144433118, 144433117, 144433116, 144433113, 144433111, 144433110, and 144433133.

For obvious reasons, I do not want to send payment reminders and/or leave neutral/negative feedback for my buyer, in order to claim my fees back. I would appreciate it, if the fees for those transactions could be refunded.

    Thanks,
    Marianne

It's just happened to me again - 142768591 was sold on 22 sept and, unfortunately, was relisted as 144007412 which just sold... buyer refunded, grovelling apology sent... and it's not my fault!

I realise that eBid can do nothing about it now, but I am still picking up the pieces from this glitch. Yet again I have had to grovel to a buyer. I checked every single knitting pattern but, because most are numbered, these are easy to sort both on here and in RL. The 4000 postcards are much more difficult, so I still don't know how many of my listings are for missing items.

See what I said in the post above - it's happened again. I guess I'm going to have to work out a way to check 4000 postcard listings. It's not easy - checking that everything I have in my stock is listed AND that everything listed is in my stock...
