First two are in my tiny, north facing, lean-to greenhouse. The third is especially for Madelaine (bit blurred- windy today)

That white fuchsia is lovely, Tony. My husband likes them in loud colours.

Here are some more. I can't name any of them, except the one I can't show you because the picture was thoroughly out of focus (try again tomorrow)

G'day everybody! thanks for the great pix

You're all soo lucky to be able to grow Fuchsias like that, I'm really jealous. I only have to look at one & they drop dead
That Cordyline is very familiar to me, naturally with a botanical name of australis - I've seen a few

I thought I'd bring us indoors in answer to Tony (nice ones Tony)

hi Old. ohhh yes I have lots of work to do...started a new system not many hear about.
    Square Foot Gardening.
I love it, after 3 years I think I finally have it ready, as each season went by, another obstacle cropped up,
    however none were insurmountable.
I've found the secret in successful gardening, was at my finger tips and never realized what it was.compost
It's all in the compost, quite the science and I love everybit of it.
This seasons small potato bed.yukon golds

I love Kohlrabi, and aren't that easy to find in the UK and they are expensive.

I agree with you there 100% Jimmy. Seems you can never have too much of the stuff.
One of my favourite TV shows down here is an ABC program called Gardening Australia, where various experts from different parts of the country, feature some gardening tip/project/plant/design or other every week.
One thing they ALL agree on is the value of compost & mulch (which becomes compost eventually)
I have heard of Square foot gardening - it is amazing how much can be squeezed into a smallish area - even in pots on balconies!
Your crop looks fantastic - well done!

All this reminds me that I must turn out our potato bag. We just used our own compost and some spuds which were sprouting in the bottom of the fridge, so anything we get is a bonus. Another job for today.

I'll be happy to send you a few seeds to start off with.
Kohlrabi is very easy to start with seeds, matter of fact, the only kohlrabi I ever had problems with was the plants I purchased at a local greenhouse.
    I love starting from seeds...
