I would never use eBid tape on the outside of parcels or envelope. It advertises the fact that there is something inside which might be worth stealing. The plainer the packaging the better, as far I'm concerned.

I can see where you're coming from, Tony, but I'm not sure that it would make very much difference. After all, any box is a box that probably has something in it that might be of some value. Is eBid known over there for having really high end merchandise?

So why do Amazon etc plaster their names over the outside? I think you are being over cautious

So his/her partner didn't know it was more patterns

As I'm now on my last roll of tape, I'm keeping it for my YDC parcels. Everyone else now gets plain brown parcel tape.

I agree Tony. Ebay doesn't have parcel tape and if it's so important to have tape with the eBid name on then use brown tape and, using a red marker on the tape, write eBid, eBid.net, ebId. US etc. Simples and also a darn site cheaper then eBid supplying the printed rolls.

The bay might not have tape, but you can order eBay PM boxes from USPS over here. Of course, my daughter seems to be always getting boxes from Amazon delivered here. Usually because there is someone here most of the time.

    Such a charming suggestion!

I'm very amused by the idea of it being necessary to put knitting patterns into the apocryphal Plain Brown Envelope!

Sorry to disappoint but EBay DOES have parcel tape in fact everything from parcel tape, poly bags, boxes and padded envelopes. You can even buy a large flat removal kit!

Whilst not supplied by EBay directly it's does appear under 'Ebay Branded Items' so I take it has their agreement.

    Sorry that is EBay-branded packaging.
